Our New Shopper Bag...

New year means new projects and with that in mind I am so happy to be announcing the launch of our brand spanking new Hey Mama Shopper Bag in black with £5 from each bag sold going directly to the PANDAS Foundation UK.

Who are the PANDAS Foundation?

They are the UK’s leading organisation delivering Pre and Post Natal Depression Advice and Support to families.

They have a variety of different support services available, all run by a trained team of PANDAS volunteers.

Their aim is ‘to make sure that no individual, family or carer feels as if they are alone. We have a variety of support services available to ensure that help is delivered in a way to suit you. No one suffering any form of mental illness should feel they are on their own.’

Find out more about the organisation here.

Why that organisation?

My own experience of post natal depression was all consuming.

I had no energy to do even basic tasks like filling the dishwasher or making the bed, I cried most mornings with the dread of the day ahead and I had severe memory problems and couldn’t form thoughts easily. I also had no hope for the future and often thought about running away.

PANDAS also support with:

  • Pre/antenatal depression

  • Pre/post natal anxiety

  • Post natal psychosis

  • Post natal PTSD or Birth Trauma

  • Pre/post natal OCD

It has been an ambition of mine to be able to start raising money consistently for maternal mental health charities so I would really appreciate any share, comment or like you can give to raise awareness of these often hidden struggles.

What about the bag?

I am proud to say that it is100% organic meaning that you get the best quality possible.
